The Lego Park Fire Department was created on April 16, 2008 to protect both the town and citizens of Lego Park. We cover an area of 19 square miles and a regular population of 25,000 citizens. During the summer months, the population tends to increase anywhere from 30,000 to 50,000. We operate 2 engines, 1 heavy rescue, 1 ambulance, 1 technical rescue, 2 fireboats, and multiple support vehicles.
The department is trained in fire suppression, motor vehicle extrication, dive and water rescue, fire education, hazardous material incidents, and technical rescues. The department also offers medical services with advance and basic life support.
